Who We Are

Dove World Outreach Center is a New Testament Christian church located in Gainesville, Florida. Founded on the belief that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations and to stand boldly for Biblical truth in the public square.

We are a non-denominational, spirit-filled congregation that believes in the full power of the Holy Spirit, the authority of Scripture, and the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations.

Dr. Terry Jones

Dr. Terry Jones is the Senior Pastor of Dove World Outreach Center and the founder of Stand Up America Now, an organization dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers of radical Islam and defending religious freedom in America and around the world.

Dr. Jones has authored several books, including Islam is of the Devil, and has spoken at churches, rallies, and events across the United States and in Germany, where he previously served as a pastor for many years.

He holds that every Christian has a responsibility to know what other religions teach — and to respond with the truth and love of the Gospel.

Stand Up America Now

Stand Up America Now is the outreach arm of Dove World Outreach Center. It organizes public events, rallies, and educational campaigns to:

  • Defend the First Amendment rights of all Americans
  • Educate the public about the teachings of Islam and other world religions
  • Promote the Christian Gospel as the answer to the spiritual needs of every person
  • Stand against any ideology — political or religious — that threatens human freedom and dignity

Our Beliefs

  • The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God
  • Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior — the only way to the Father (John 14:6)
  • Salvation is by grace through faith alone (Ephesians 2:8–9)
  • The Holy Spirit is active and present in the life of every believer
  • Every nation and every person needs to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ
  • Christians are called to love all people — including those of other faiths — with truth and compassion
